BESTSELLER A/S and the BESTSELLER group company in which you are employed are the data controllers with respect to the personal data covered by this Privacy Policy.

The App allows you to complete purchases in our stores with employee discounts.

Completing employee purchases
We use your information to provide you with your employee benefits in the store such as discounts and complete the employee purchase. Further, your information is processed to complete internal invoicing between BESTSELLER entities corresponding to the discounted amounts.

Ensure compliance with company guidelines/fraud prevention
We also process your information to ensure that you comply with our guidelines for employee purchases, including keeping within the fixed spending limits, time of shopping, return, purchasing of gifts, etc. In addition, we use your information to prevent and detect fraud.

Analysis and statistics/business development
Finally, we process your personal data in order to maintain and develop our app and the services and functionalities offered within the app.

2. Sharing of your personal data
We share your personal data within our organisation with relevant employees having work related tasks associated with employee purchases as well as relevant colleagues within the IT organisation.
Your personal data is hosted with Microsoft within EU. In very rare cases related to support your data may be transferred to Microsoft in the USA. In such case the transfer will be safeguarded and governed by the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Data storage
We only store your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, to establish, defend or exercise legal claims or to comply with regulatory requirements, e.g., bookkeeping regulations. When this is no longer the case, the information will be deleted.
You can also request us to delete personal data, cf. clause 4 below. We will comply with such request unless we are obligated to store the information for regulatory reasons or unless the information is relevant due to a pending legal case/dispute.
You are welcome to contact us if you want information about which data is being processed about you and for which purposes. This is also the case if you want to rectify, restrict, or delete personal information. Whenever we process your personal data, by automated means based on your consent or based on an agreement, you have the right to receive a copy of your data transferred to you or to a specific recipient.
